SEA SPRAY. TARRY ROPE. LIME.

Deep and enchanting, with suggestions of sweet hickory-smoked meats and clove wreathed in cigar smoke.

At first very herbal, giving way to drying flavours of cocoa powder. Aniseed and cinnamon soon emerge, alongside notes of almond and walnut. Then hints of oak are tempered by vanilla and soft barley.

Rich and aromatically fragrant. Scents of smoked applewood, sweet chestnuts and birch tar are followed by fruitier hints of peach and pear. Then Ardbeg’s classic lime notes come to the fore with red grapefruit juice. A splash of water brings out orange blossom and honeysuckle, layered with a syrupy sweetness, hints of toasted marshmallow and honey-glazed, smoked food.
