Through floor-level stories and a guided tasting of their favourite drams, our makers share first-hand insight into the craft and decisions shaping Ardbeg at every stage—giving you an unfiltered view of how our iconic spirit comes to life.

This is no standard distillery visit. Whether you’re a long-time Ardbeggian or newly drawn to Islay's smoky side, it’s a bold, insider’s view of Ardbeg, rooted entirely in the people who make it.

Embark on an exclusive whisky journey with The Roaming Dram - this immersive tasting experience invites you to explore the hidden corners of our Distillery site, with stops in carefully selected areas that hold a story and a flavour profile all their own.

As we roam round the site, you’ll taste a range of exceptional Ardbeg whiskies, including aged and Limited Edition expressions. Each dram showcases a distinct flavour profile, highlighting the depth and complexity of our craft. From rich, peaty notes to sweet, fruity layers, this tasting offers something for every whisky lover.

More than just a tasting, this is a chance to slow down, connect with the essence of Ardbeg, and savour the drams that tell the story of our craft. It’s an experience that’s all about you - the whisky, the space, and the stories behind them.

Step into dunnage Warehouse 3, surrounded by barrels, butts, and barriques and wielding a valinch to draw extraordinary drams straight from the cask. You’ll savour whiskies brimming with depth and character.

This is a tasting adventure with great spirit, bold flavours, and unforgettable moments.
